Fencing Contractor of the Quarter July 2015

We are proud to announce Andy Hogarth of Cape to Cape fencing as this seasons fencing contractor of the quarter. Andy is based in Margaret River, Western Australia, a southerly town renowned for wine tourism and for its unique blend of country charm, rural vibes and city living.

Andy comes from a long standing family farming background in Scotland, and after traveling throughout Australia in his earlier days and thinking this was a place he could see himself settling into, he made the big move with his family and has been here for the last 10 years. Andy has been in the fencing business in Australia for 8 years, and has spent the last 4 years building his own business. He currently has two full time contractors, and since Margaret River has significant problems with kangaroos, he specialises in rural fencing.

Andy installs a significant quantity of Southern Wire Griplock Exotic fencing ranging from 1.5 metres to 1.9 metres high to keep the roos under better control. He says, “It is the best choice of fence to use for keeping out the roos. It’s a great investment for my customers, especially because of the huge pressure the kangaroos place on the wire.”

Andy also states, “The Griplock knot is so hard to move, so the fence stays in top condition for much longer than other fences.“

We hope the kangaroos pause long enough for Andy to enjoy the new Weber Baby-Q his quality work has brought him.
