Rapid Stay

Suitable for both wooden and steel strainer posts.

The Southern Wire Rapid Stay Assembly is designed to suit both steel and wooden strainer.

Included in the easy-to-install assembly is a 40mmNB MED Wall (3.2mm) galvanised pipe stay, M12 threaded rod and a 6mm galvanised steel footplate (320mm x 250mm) which cuts 20mm into the ground to provide a firm footing. There is provision to drive star pickets (not included) through the footplate to prevent movement in sandy soils.

The 80mmNB MED wall strainer post to suit the Rapid Stay Assembly, comes with pre-drilled holes for threaded rod tieback as well as lugs to drive angled star pickets for increased stability.
