Over the years, Southern Wire has supplied thousands of kilometres of fencing into the regions now hit hardest by the 2025 Queensland floods. If you’re in one of the eligible shires, you may now be able to access funding to help replace or repair your boundary fences. The government’s grant program is now live, and it’s a rare chance to ease the cost burden of getting your property stock-proof and back in order.

The grant covers part of the cost of replacing boundary fencing damaged in the floods. That means if you’ve been holding off repairs because of the price tag, now’s the time to act.
